Police Officers Vindicated by Inquest Jury

Two police officers, represented in inquest proceedings by Paul Watson QC of these chambers, were found by a jury in Hull to have been justified in firing each of the shots which they had fired in the course of their duty.The inquest lasted over six weeks and centred upon the death of a young male who was suffering from a psychotic episode and was in possession of three swords at the time he was shot.
